“Dan had an inherent feel for my work from the outset of our experience publishing my short story ‘Delivery to Venus’ in the inaugural issue of Nonlocal Science Fiction. He rounded the rough edges of my story in a very effective manner. I hope I’ll have another opportunity to work with this proficient and thoughtful editor in the future.”

“I met Dan when he was preparing the first Nonlocal issue. When he said that he would edit my short story prior to publication in Nonlocal, I rolled my eyes. I had proofread it myself to perfection – or so I thought, for his eagle eye caught mistakes that had eluded me, and made suggestions that dramatically improved the story. I now consider him more than just a great editor and publisher–I consider him a friend.”

“As a first time published author, I felt Dan made great efforts to make sure I was comfortable with the publication process. He always exhibited a professionalism I believe is rare in this business, and was quick to respond with any concerns or questions I had. I take great pride in showing off my publication, and I make sure to mention Dan as my excellent editor and guide.”

Aaron Katzmarek
Author, “Very Little Risk”

“Dan’s interest in my short story went beyond a simple purchase. He made me part of a community of authors and readers, offering me constructive editing advice while also supporting my creative choices. He took a chance on me as an unpublished author and made me part of a unique publishing model that has seen my web presence and support network grow since my inclusion in Nonlocal Science Fiction.”
